Belfry Hotel Wedding Photographer<\/h2>\n

Nina and Tom held their wedding at the Belfry Hotel in Sutton Coldfield. We chatted about the wedding over the phone whilst I was en-route to shoot Laura and Rory’s wedding in Ilfracombe. I instantly knew that it would be a fun wedding to shoot. Nina and Tom wanted relaxed and natural photos of their day, without too many posed shots so they could enjoy the wedding day along with their guests. Sounded perfect. It was! (Luckily they went ahead and booked me as their\u00a0Belfry wedding photographer!)<\/p>\n

A lot of people might be\u00a0surprised to hear this day described as perfect. I mean, it rained virtually all day long. It’s not what most would want for their wedding! But it honestly didn’t matter one bit. What makes a wedding perfect in my eyes is that everyone has a good time. It really doesn’t matter about much else! I wholeheartedly believe that couples who enjoy the day and whatever it throws at them always get the best photos!<\/p>\n

Whilst the forecast at the Belfry was bleak all day, we still managed to grab a few portraits and group photos outside. The Belfry has some lovely grounds for this too. I always keep a keen eye on the weather during the wedding day and it’s rare that there isn’t a tiny break that allows us to nip out for some photos in natural light!<\/p>\n

Enjoy your wedding day!<\/h2>\n

Nina and Tom were such a pleasure to be around. Always smiling, enjoying each moment and being with all their loved ones. It was a day of love, laughter, tears, high fives, fist bumps and so much more. An absolute joy to photograph!<\/p>\n

Lastly, it was a nice change to shoot at a local wedding venue! I’m often travelling far and wide with overnight stays so to shoot at a West Midlands wedding venue and have a 25-minute drive home at the end of a full day was a refreshing change! It was my first outing as a Belfry wedding photographer but hopefully not the last!<\/p>\n
