I need very little excuse to head to the beach, so when Pippa and Edd asked if I’d travel from the Midlands to Devon for their pre-wedding shoot,\u00a0the answer was a resounding yes! It was a meaningful choice of location as Edd grew up in that part of the world, and it also just so happens to have beautiful landscapes that made for great photos. I also got to go for a quick surf before the shoot. Win-win!<\/p>\n

As is often the case in the UK, the weather wasn’t great – wet and windy, but Pippa\u00a0came fully prepared with waterproof jacket and wellies, and quite honestly it made the shoot! Being bright yellow Pippa’s\u00a0jacket perfectly matched the flowers on the headland and I\u00a0just love how the yellows, greens and blues from this shoot go together. I’m a self-admitted\u00a0lover of colour! Pippa and Ed were total troopers too and weren’t going to let a biting wind stop them from enjoying themselves and getting some photos. I couldn’t have asked for more from them.<\/p>\n

We had a fun time wandering across the headland and cliffs\u00a0and finished up the shoot with a few frames on the beach – the perfect end to a fun afternoon with a super couple. After spending a bit of time together, I’m very much looking forward to being their wedding photographer in Staffordshire later this year – it’s\u00a0actually at a venue we came\u00a0close to choosing for our own wedding so should be interesting to see what could have been! I’m sure Pippa will have it styled to perfection!<\/p>\n
