I&#8217;ve travelled all around the country and abroad shooting weddings and meeting some truly lovely people along the way. Just when I thought things\u00a0couldn&#8217;t get much better,\u00a0during a nice quiet wedding anniversary evening out with my wife, my phone started to frantically buzz away with the news that I\u2019d won the title of &#8220;Wedding Photographer of the Year&#8221; in the West Midlands regional finals of the\u00a0Wedding Industry Awards!!! What an anniversary present!!<\/p>\n<p>I just wanted to write this post to say a huge huge thanks to my couples for voting for me. Quite simply, it&#8217;s been a fantastic year of weddings because of all you lovely people and I can&#8217;t thank you enough! You\u00a0and your amazing weddings have been an absolute joy to photograph!\u00a0To win this award for two years running is a wonderful feeling and one that I think will be hard to beat. I have you to thank for it and I&#8217;m incredibly grateful.<\/p>\n<p>This post wouldn&#8217;t be complete without a few photos to give a little taste of what I&#8217;ve been up to over the last few months. There&#8217;s so much more that I can&#8217;t wait\u00a0to share, but I&#8217;m planning to do a much bigger\u00a0end of year blog post as a way of\u00a0looking back and celebrating\u00a0all the fantastic moments I&#8217;ve been so fortunate to be a part of,\u00a0so I&#8217;ve tried to keep this post to a minimum.\u00a0To be honest, that proved\u00a0pretty difficult &#8211; I think I started at 20 images and then just had to add &#8216;one more&#8217; and then &#8216;one more&#8217; and before I knew it I&#8217;d ended up with waaay more than I planned. I do get rather\u00a0excited looking back through weddings!\u00a0With nine still to\u00a0edit and four weddings to shoot, 2015\u00a0is still far from complete,\u00a0but&#8230;\u00a0in no particular
