The instant I met Tom & Chantelle I just knew I had to photograph their wedding. I felt that we just ‘clicked’.

It’s true that we both had a fair bit in common, such as a love for travelling, photography, music – that kind of thing, but it wasn’t really those things that made me feel so drawn to them. Simply put, they are just a genuine, warm, outgoing and downright lovely couple. You just can’t help but feel great when you’re around them! If you know them, I’m sure you’ll understand what I mean.

I really cannot wait to shoot their wedding. In fact, I remember asking them if they wouldn’t mind bringing it forward a year! A long shot, but I guess it was worth a try.

Fortunately, with an engagement shoot arranged, it wasn’t too long before we got together again and headed up to Clee Hill near Ludlow in Shropshire to take some photos. We were rewarded with great light and somehow we finished up the shoot in a field sitting on bales of hay! Everything came together perfectly…

…In fact, I’d go so far as to say that ‘it just clicked’.
