Island of the Gods
I’ve always had an affinity with Bali. It’s a place that’s pretty easy to fall in love with, especially if you surf – as I do. I probably don’t need to explain the appeal of 25 degree water to anyone that surfs in the UK, but aside from that little detail, the waves simply PUMP – and all of the time too! I’d been to Bali before many years ago, but this time I’d be going with Soma so I knew the trip would be even more special.
So.. here are a few snapshots from our holiday. We saw monkeys, volcanoes, temples and… …well, see for yourself. Oh, and look out for my good friends Naomi and Jason (RNLI lifeguards) rescuing a drowning bather at Echo beach! There are a few photos of some of the waves I had too. Bali – you were truly amazing, I knew you wouldn’t disappoint.
