best photographer west midlands twia trophy winner

“A BIG BIG thank you to all of my 2015 couples!”

It’s been an amazing year. I’ve travelled all around the country and abroad shooting weddings and meeting some truly lovely people along the way. Just when I thought things couldn’t get much better, during a nice quiet wedding anniversary evening out with my wife, my phone started to frantically buzz away with the news that I’d won the title of “Wedding Photographer of the Year” in the West Midlands regional finals of the Wedding Industry Awards!!! What an anniversary present!!

I just wanted to write this post to say a huge huge thanks to my couples for voting for me. Quite simply, it’s been a fantastic year of weddings because of all you lovely people and I can’t thank you enough! You and your amazing weddings have been an absolute joy to photograph! To win this award for two years running is a wonderful feeling and one that I think will be hard to beat. I have you to thank for it and I’m incredibly grateful.

This post wouldn’t be complete without a few photos to give a little taste of what I’ve been up to over the last few months. There’s so much more that I can’t wait to share, but I’m planning to do a much bigger end of year blog post as a way of looking back and celebrating all the fantastic moments I’ve been so fortunate to be a part of, so I’ve tried to keep this post to a minimum. To be honest, that proved pretty difficult – I think I started at 20 images and then just had to add ‘one more’ and then ‘one more’ and before I knew it I’d ended up with waaay more than I planned. I do get rather excited looking back through weddings! With nine still to edit and four weddings to shoot, 2015 is still far from complete, but… in no particular order, here is that taster…
